2013-2016 Toyota Rav4 Maintenance Reqd Light Reset
1.Switch ignition “ON”.
2.Set the car on “TRIP A” by PRESSING “DISP” button on steering wheel.
3.Turn “OFF” the car in lock position.
4.PRESS and HOLD “DISP” button and switch ignition “ON” engine “OFF”.
5.You will hear “BEEP” sound and odometer reading will start to “FLASH”.
6.Once “00000” flash on cluster meter “MAINT REQD” light go off from cluster meter.
5.This will reset Maintenance Light.
2017-2021 Toyota Rav4 Service Light Reset Guide
This procedure is for vehicle with PUSH START button.Use UP DOWN LEFT RIGHT arrow pad and RETURN button on steering wheel to do this reset.
1.PUSH ignition “ON”.
2.PRESS “RETURN” button on steering wheel.
3.PRESS “LEFT” arrow button on steering wheel and go to “VEHICLE SETTING”.
4.Now PRESS center “OK” button on arrow pad.
5. “VEHICLE SETTINGS” open in cluster screen.
6.Scroll to “SCHEDUEL MAINTENANCE” and PRESS “OK” button on steering wheel .
7. “SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE RESET DATA?” open in cluster screen.
8.Scroll to “YES” and PRESS “OK” button .
9. “THE DATA HAS BEEN RESET” appear in cluster screen.
If maintenance reset procedure is not working to reset oil life ,make sure you are following each step correctly and in order given above.
2013-2018 Toyota Rav4 Engine Oil Capacity And Oil Type
Toyota Rav4 2.5L Engine-Approximately 4.6 quarts (4.4 liters) of 0W-20 grade oil when engine oil and oil filter are changed.
2019 2020 2021 Toyota Rav4 Engine Oil Capacity And Oil Type
Toyota Rav4 2.5L Engine-Approximately 4.8 quarts (4.5 liters) of 0W-16 grade oil when engine oil and oil filter changed.
