How To Reset Oil Jeep Wrangler 2007-2017

Oil Change Light Reset Jeep Wrangle 2007-2017

1.Switch ignition “OFF”.

2.Next switch ignition “ON” to “POSITION 2′.

3.Ignition “ON” engine “OFF”.

4.Now depress gas paddle or accelerator paddle “THREE” time quickly.

This will reset oil maintenance light.Sometime you need to perform the procedure more than one one time if it fail first time.To verify if reset procedure completed successfuly or not follow the procedure given below.

How To Check Oil Percentage On Jeep Wrangler

1.Switch ignition “ON”.

2.PRESS “MENU” button on the left side of steering wheel.

3.Keep PRESSING “MENU” button till “VEHICLE INFO” display in cluster.

4.Now PRESS “DOWN ARROW” button two time.

5. “OIL LIFE 100% REMAINING” appear in cluster meter.

This confirm the oil life has been reset.If it don’t show 100% than you have to reset it again.

Jeep Wrangler 3.8L Engine- Approximately 6 quarts (5.7 liters) of 5W-20 grade oil when engine oil and oil filter changed.

Jeep Wrangler 3.6L EGT Engine- Approximately 6 quarts (5.7 liters) of 5W-20 grade oil when engine oil and oil filter changed.

Jeep Wrangler 3.6L ERB Engine – Approximately 6 quarts (5.7 liters) of 5W-20 grade oil when engine oil and oil filter changed.
