Oil Change Light Reset Kia Forte 2014-2017
1.Turn Ignition to RUN/ON position without starting the engine.
2.Depress gas pedal three times slowly.
3.Next turn Ignition to OFF position.
Oil Service Reminder Reset Kia Forte 2018-2023
1.Turn Ignition ON to position two without starting the engine.
2.Press Menu button on steering wheel until USER SETTINGS appear in instrument cluster display.
3.Next scroll down to SERVICE INTERVAL and press OK button.
4.Now scroll down to RESET and press OK button.
5.Reset Time and Distance appear in instrument cluster display.
6.Scroll to YES and press OK button.

1.8L Engine- Approximately 4.2 quarts (4 liters) of 5W-20,5W-30 or 10W-30 grade oil when engine oil and oil filter changed.
Turbo GDI Engine- Approximately 4.8 quarts (4.5 liters) of 5W-20,5W-30 or 10W-30 grade oil when engine oil and oil filter changed.
2020-2023 Kia Forte Engine Oil Capacity And Oil Type
2.0L MPI Engine- Approximately 4.2 quarts (4 liters) of 5W-20 grade oil when engine oil and oil filter changed.
1.6L T-GDI Engine- Approximately 4.75 quarts (4.5 liters) of 5W-30 grade oil when engine oil and oil filter changed.
