Service Light Reset Volvo C30 – Quick and easy tutorial on how to reset oil service light on Volvo C30 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014.If reset is not done the oil monitoring system is unable to track correcty when next oil change is due.Follow the procedure given below after every oil change to reset oil service indicator light.

How To Reset Oil Service Light Volvo C30

1.Turn Ignition ON to POSITION ONE.If vehicle is equiped with keyless starting system then Press Engine Start/Stop button ONCE.

2.Press TRIP button on instrument cluster to TRIP 2.

3.Next Press and Hold TRIP button and turn Ignition to POSITION TWO.For vehicle with Engine Start/Stop button Press TRIP button and Press and Hold Start/Stop button for TWO seconds.

4.Press and Hold TRIP button untill the [i] start to blink in instrument cluster.

5.Now release the TRIP button within TWO seconds.

6.Now turn Ignition OFF and restart the vehicle to verify.

If the oil indicator not reseted repeat the procedure by following each step correctly.

2.4L Engine – Approximately 6.12 quarts (5.8 liters) of 5W-30 grade oil when engine oil and oil filter changed.
