How To Reset Oil Light Acura ILX 2009-2022

Oil Change Light Reset Acura ILX:Quick and easy tutorial on how to reset maintenance reminder light on Acura ILX 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022.If reset is not done oil monitoring system will be unable to track properly when next oil change is due.Follow the procedure give below after every oil change to reset oil maintenance light.

2009-2015 Acura ILX Oil Life Reset

1.Push Engine Start/Stop button “TWO” times.

2.Ignition “ON” engine “OFF”.

3.PRESS [i] button on steering wheel untill “CUSTOMIZE SETTINGS” appear in instrument cluster screen.

4.Now PRESS “SEL RESET” button on steering wheel.

5. “GROUP” menu open in instrument cluster screen.

6.PRESS [i] button till “MAINTENANCE INFO” appear in instrument cluster screen.

7.PRESS “SEL RESET” button again.

8. “OIL LIFE RESET” appear in instrument cluster screen.

9.PRESS [i] button and go to “RESET”.

10.Next PRESS “SEL RESET” button.

11. “MAINTENANCE RESET” appear in instrument cluster screen.

12.RESET COMPLETED.

13.PRESS “BACK ARROW” button on steering wheel to exit .

Reset Oil Light Acura ILX 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020

1.PRESS Engine Start/Stop button “TWO” times.

2.Set power mode “ON” engine “OFF”.

3.PRESS UP [i] arrow button on the steering wheel repetedly untill “VEHICLE SETTINGS” appear in multi information display.

4.Now PRESS “SEL RESET” button on steering wheel.

5. “CUSTOMIZE GROUP” appear in multi information display.

6. PRESS UP [i] arrow button untill “MAINTENANCE INFO” appear in multi information display.

7.Next select “MAINTENANCE INFO” by pressing “SEL RESET” button on steering wheel.

8.Next PRESS UP [i] button untill “RESET” appear in multi information display.

9.Now PRESS and HOLD “SEL RESET” button on steering wheel.

10. “RESET COMPLETED” will appear in multi information display.

11.Oil Life reset to 100 % PRESS back arrow button to exit.

2021 2022 Acura ILX Maintenance Light

1.Set power mode “ON”.

2.Power “ON” engine “OFF”.

3.Go to “Vehicle Settings” by pressing [i] button .

4.Next go to “Maintenance Info” group.

5.PRESS “SEL RESET” button on steering wheel.

6.Oil life reset mode appear in multi information display.

7.Select “RESET” using UP DOWN arrow button and PRESS “SEL RESET” button.

8.Engine OIL LIFE 100% is displayed in multi information display.

2009-2022 Acura ILX Engine Oil Capacity And Oil Type

1.5L Engine – Approximately 3.8 quarts (3.5 liters) of 0W-20 grade oil when engine oil and oil filter changed.

2.0L Engine- Approximately 3.9 quarts (3.7 liters) of 0W-20 grade oil when engine oil and oil filter changed.

2.4L Engine Approximately 4.4 quarts (4.2 liters) of 0W-20 grade oil when engine oil and oil filter changed.
