How To Reset Maintenance Light Toyota Matrix 2005-2015

Maintenance Reset Toyota Matrix:Quick and easy tutorial on how to reset maintenance light on Toyota Matrix 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015.If reset is not done system will be unable to detect when next oil maintenance is due.

Toyota Matrix Maint Reqd Light Reset 2005-2015

Use TRIP button cluster meter to complete the proceduer.

1.Ignition “ON” engine “OFF”.

2.PRESS “TRIP” button to “ODO” meter in cluster screen.

3.After trip is set to ODO switch OFF the car.

4.PRESS and HOLD the TRIP button.

5.Now turn the KEYS to ON position.

6.Four dash [ – – – – ] start to blink in cluster meter screen.

7.Continue PRESSING the TRIP till dash goes and 00000 display in cluster screen.

8.Now RELEASE the TRIP button and you are done.

Maintenance Reset Toyota Matrix Quick Guide

  1. Ignition “ON”.
  2. PRESS “TRIP” button to “ODO”.
  3. Switch Ignition “OFF”.
  4. PRESS and Hold “TRIP” button.
  5. Switch ignition “ON”.
  6. Four dash [– – – –] blink in cluster meter.
  7. Continue to PRESS “TRIP” button.

2005-2009 Toyota Matrix Engine Oil Viscosity And Capacity

1ZZ-FE Engine -Approximately 3.9 quarts (3.7 liters) of 5W-30 grade oil when engine oil and oil filter changed.

2ZZ-GE Engine -Approximately 4.8 quarts (4.4 liters) of 5W-30 grade oil when engine oil and oil filter changed.

2010-2015 Toyota Matrix Engine Oil Viscosity And Capacity

2ZR-FE Engine – Approximately 4.4 quarts (4.2 liters) of 0W-20 grade oil when engine oil and oil filter changed.

2AZ-FE Engine – Approximately 4.0 quarts (3.8 liters) of 0W-20 grade oil when engine oil and oil filter changed.
